Don't you want a better and brighter future in sport, academically and athletically, while providing yourself the best opportunity for success? The earlier you prepare, the better off you'll be!

Keep reading and let me show you how you can compete at the next level:

GRADE 9 & 10

If you're in grade 9 or grade 10, talk to your high school guidance counselor and the online core-course listing to make sure you are on track to get to where you want to be. If you are planning to go to a NCAA school find out when and where you can write the SAT or ACT or even Practice SAT/ACT tests to see how you do and measure yourself to see how much more you need to study to do better.

GRADE 11

If you're in grade 11, register with the eligibility center. You can do so by going to: www.ncaaclearinghouse.net.
Here are some tips to keep in mind:

   - Make sure you are still on course to meet core-course requirements. Verify that you have the correct number of core courses and that the core courses are on your high school's required list with the eligibility center.
   - After grade 9 and 10, have your high school guidance counselor send a copy of your transcript to the school of your choice. If you have attended any other high schools, make sure a transcript is sent to the eligibility center from each high school.
   - When taking the ACT or SAT, request that those test scores get sent to the eligibility center (the code is "9999").
   - Begin the amateurism questionnaire

GRADE 12

If you're in grade 12, here's what you need to do:

When taking the ACT or SAT, request that test scores are to be sent to the eligibility center (the code is "9999"). You also need to go to: www.ncaaclearinghouse.net. Complete the amateurism questionnaire and sign the final authorization signature online on or after April 1 if you are expecting to enroll in college for the fall semester. If you are expecting to enroll for spring semester, sign the final authorization signature on or after October 1 of the year prior to enrollment. Have your high school guidance counselor send a final transcript with proof of graduation to the eligibility center.
