Farbod Farman is the most recent SportsList recruit.

The power forward/centre hails from Iran, and has made a name for himself on the FIBA courts. His efforts at the 2008 Asia Under-18 Championship in Tehran, Iran, helped his team win the tournament and they will now participate at the 2009 FIBA Under-19 World Championship in New Zealand. Farbod was named tournament MVP, and he averaged 17 points and 8.7 rebounds per game.

Farbod currently plays for Mahram in the Iranian Basketball Super League, but hopes to expand his career by teaming up with SportsList.ca. Tom Rajabzadeh, founder, had this to say, "Farbod is a natural scorer and his shot blocking ability at crucial times won Iran games, which is a depiction of his intelligence and understanding of the game defensively and only at 17 years of age".

With his wins at FIBA (a 6-1 win-loss record at the Asia U-18 Championship), a 2007 Iran League Championship with Mahram, and named an All-Star at the NBA Basketball Without Borders Camp in China, Farbod's career is just beginning.
